2018 Volvo XC60 Changes
2018 Volvo XC60 can be said to bring the same good impression of its predecessor, which is none other but comfortable and modern ride. Even the main concept used is still quite the same, still there will be some changes and improvements applied by the automaker in order to make it an even better SUV. Those will certainly also keep XC60 in the top position of SUV options.
Changes on Exterior and Interior
The first changes can be found in 2018 Volvo XC60 we are going to talk about in this post is located on the exterior and interior design. Generally the exterior will be made to be sportier than before. Besides, the platform used is also new this time, which is SPA platform. This is as a matter of fact the one that is also used on the design on its sibling XC90. It is very reasonable then if both have the quite similar look on the outside. At the front of the new XC60, the bumper is restyled in order to make it looks more imposing. Headlights and taillights are other parts of exterior design that are also restyled for the 2017 version.
Unlike the exterior design with quite a lot of changes here and there, there are not much changes applied inside the new SUV. Even so, it is very clear that new interior color options are given by the automaker. Some additional space is also added in both front and passenger cabin in order to make this 5-passenger vehicle more comfortable in the inside.
Changes on Powertrain
With the range of price that is started at about $35,000, this new 2018 Volvo XC60 also receives some changes on the powertrain. Unfortunately, the automaker has not mentioned anything about it. The prediction that will mostly be true once it is released in 2017 is a 2.4L gas engine with 3-cyl and the capability to create 180hp and 440 pound-feet of torque.
